Consolation For Writers: 5 Proven Steps For Writing An Expressive Content

A Woman Writing Creatively Amidst The Nature

I remember some politicians who deliver a provoking speech. They mock the opposing party's indecisiveness. They are great entertainers but when it comes down to actually working for people, they just disappear into the thin air. People gather in hordes for such speech events and cheer such talented speakers. However, at the time of voting, the one whose work is vivid gets the maximum votes.

What if I leave you with the previous blog post - just criticizing the SEO shit without giving the steps to be better off without it? Then I can be nothing more to you than a short-lived entertainer. Y'all will find some warmth for a while but as the reality hits, you will do the same thing - 'writing for machines!'

Let's get straight to the point. What can you do instead of letting the SEO suck your soul? If we all unite, we can kill the SEO, and it can be dead for real. At least we can give SEO a wide berth. If writers stop giving a fuck about SEO, then its glory may get lost. Then finally the golden era for writers before SEOism will return.

Give a fuck about the Five ways below to obtain justice for the writer within you:

What to do Instead?

1. Whom to write for: Write for people having flesh and emotions

If you are in a creative process that leads to a mechanical outcome, you probably must second guess your course in the first place. The high-quality expectations in less time kill the creativity, but the SEO writing also kills it. As I told you in the previous post, if your writing is engaging, it could perform well without the use of SEO strategies.

People will connect, share, and admire what you write. I really think this is the way to get some organic traffic. Today, the real meaning of 'Organic Traffic' is lost. People with flesh and emotions can add more value to your content than the algorithms.

If all you want is conversions, earnings, and rankings, then continue to be the puppet controlled by SEO analysts. On the other hand, if you just enjoy writing or want to touch people somehow, you will be excited to read further. Writing for people may also increase earnings and rankings. Not just that, but favoring people can be a great long-term investment than obeying the SEO rules.

2. How to write: Write as you talk to your friend

Whom to right for is clear to you, but without knowing how to write you won't be able to make a big difference. Making the audience your friends is the key to success. Observe how you talk with your friends. It's informal, free-wheeling, and comfortable. If you bring the same ease in your write-ups, the people will connect far better than when you write formally.

I would recommend you to observe the youtube videos of some well-established YouTubers. They respect the audience but they are friendly. If you can bring the same style in your writing, then a great number of people will read your content till the last word.

3.  What to write: Write what you are good at

Actually what to write is the question that may arise before 'whom to write for' and 'how to write.' But if you solve the other two problems, then you will get a free space to breathe inside the topic that interests you. Without the botheration of SEO, you are simply choosing people over algorithms and let's say your friend over your boss.

If you have the liberty to write for people and the people are your friends, all you have to do is pour your heart out. Just like you open up with your close friend you have to free up yourself with the topic that is close to your heart. If you can't come up with personal stories that can help or entertain readers, then the next point is for you.

4. Research-digest-write-repeat

If you want to write something informative, you don't have to collect degrees. Just trusting your passion for writing will do everything for you. Simply research a topic, and then let it sink deeply in your heart. Only get back to typing desk when you know you can craft a masterpiece out of the knowledge you acquired. To simplify, put the researched information in your own words.

If you wanna dig further, then I recommend you read the book, "Steal Like An Artist." It has helped me. It will also help you. So remember this formula if you wanna be informative as well as creative and don't want to run out of topics: Research-Digest-Write-Repeat.

Repeating is important. It will lift you from nothing to everything. If you follow the formula with great consistency, one day you may surprise yourself by compiling your content and publishing it as an eBook.

5. Strengthen the marketing and promotions

It's a huge risk to go against what's trending and follow your own set of rules. The major purpose of SEO is to rank better on google.

By opposing SEO, I don't recommend you write a blog and leave it for some miracle to occur. If your writing is engaging, it will attract people undoubtedly. But that may not be enough. From a marketing point of view, social media promotions are of immense value. Even the ones who are into SEO do such promotions.

Since you aren't giving a fuck about SEO anymore, you need to strengthen your promotional strategies. This is to ensure that your content reaches a large number of audiences organically. Leverage the largest platforms like Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Pinterest, and Tumblr for promoting your write-ups. Also, don't underestimate the power of the platforms for sharing content like "Viral Content Bee." Build a good presence on networks, platforms, forums, or communities. For instance: Quora, Reddit, Mix, and more.

Putting constant and consistent efforts to follow the above five points will gradually make you an independent writer who is free from the burdensome baggage of SEO. If we all rise, SEO will surely be dead in the near future.
